in a hospital,the monthly consumption of milk of 60 patients is 1350 litres.how many patients can be accommodate in the hospital if the monthly ration of milk is raised to 1710 litres,assuming that the quota per head remains the same? answer is 76

Use unitary method to solve this question.
When 1350 litres of milk is used up for 60 people then 1710 litres will be used for how many people ?
1710*60/1350 = 76 People....

So let the quota of milk per had be = x
x=1350/60=22.5l
Let no of patients accimodated be= y
Y=1710/22.5 = 76
