in a hostel 10 bulbs of 100 W each for 5 hours, 2geasers 1000W each for 1 hour 5 fans of 120 W for 10hours. calculate the electricity bill fo the bill for the month of september. if cost of 1 unit is Rs 4.50 plz do calculate it and derive it in a easy way and give the answer

Power due to bulb in one hour=10 × 100=1000W
In 5 hour=5000Wh= 5kWh (kilo watt hour)

Power due to geaser in one hour =2 × 1000=2000Wh=2kWh(kilo watt hour)

Power due to fans =5 × 120=600W
In 10 hour=6000Wh=6kWh

Power for one day=5+2+6=12kWh
For month of september(30 days)=30 × 12kWh=360kWh(1kWh=1unit)

Cost for one unit of power=4.50
Cost for 360unit of power=1620 Rs
