Answer:

(a) Total Energy consumption per day = 4.08 kWh

(b) Units recorded in the house's electrical metre for a month of 30 days = 122.4 units

(c) The electricity bill for the same month = Rs. 612

Explanation:

Total energy consumed = Energy of ( 4 Tubelights + 2 Fans + TV set)

                                        = [4(40*8) + 2(60*10) + 1(200*8) ] Wh

                                        = [ 1280 + 1200 + 1600 ] Wh

                                        = 4080 Wh or 4.08 kWh              ( 1 kWh = 1000 Wh)

Units recorded in the house's electrical metre for a month of 30 days = 4.08*30 units i.e. 122.4 units.

The electricity bill for the same month i.e. for 122.4 units = 122.4 * 5 =  Rs.612
