used for 2 hours and an Air conditioner is used for 10 hours every day. Calculate the cost of using
the tube-lights, electric press and AC for 30 days if cost of electrical energy is five Qatari riyals per
unit.

Explanation:

5 tube lights 40 w for 5 hours

= 5*40*5 = 1000 watt hours

electric press of 500 w for 2 hours

= 500*2 = 1000 watt hours

wattage of AC is not given, however i calculate the cost for tube lights & electric press

total cost for 30 days

1000 + 1000 = 2000 watt hours

2000*30 = 60000 watt hours

= 60 kilowatt hrs

1 unit = 1 kilowatt hrs

cost for 60 units = 60*5 = 300 qatar riyals
