In a hydrogen atom if the electron moves from one energy level to a higher energy level is

1)kinetic energy increase but potential energy decreases

2)both kinetic energy and potential energy increses

3)kinetic energy decrease but potential energy increase

4)total energy increase but angular momentum decrease

sorry i made a mistake so i would to repeat my question quick plz!!!

T.E = ke +pe where potential energy is negative but double of kinetic enrgy so total energy is negative but equal in kinetic energy kinetic energy is positive .TE = -13.4 z^2/n^2 if electron moves higher level then energy is increase so potential energy increase but kinetic energy is decreases
