Step-by-step explanation:

Firstly when the milk was replaced

the ratio became 48:12

and the second time the ratio became 45:15

but on the second replacement the solution had a mixture of both water and milk of 48:12 or 4:1

which means 4x+x=15

x=3

12 litres of milk and 3 litres of water got replaced

total milk= 60-12-12=36 l

and total water= 60 l -36 l= 24 l

therefore ratio = 36/24 = 3:2
