Beam balance are not that much accurate and easy to handle as. Compared to physical balance which can be handled easily also it gives more precision and accuracy .whereas beam balance is outdated the balance may get or can be corroded so it won't give the actual value and hence the reason .

In a laboratory we use a physical balance , but not a beam balance because :
⇒Mass is measured with the help of a beam balance.
⇒Beam balance is used to measure the mass of an object by comparing it with a known mass.
⇒A beam balance can measure small to very large masses.
whereas
⇒The beam balance that can measure mass even up to milligram or less is known as Physical balance
⇒Physical balance is used in laboratories to measure mass accurately for the smaller objects.
