in mouth no digestion occurs the food is broken down into small pieces in the mouth nd gets mixed with saliva which later on goes to the stomach through oesophagus where it gets churned nd grinded down and gets mixed with bile juices. then it further moves to the small intestine where it gets completely digested. the helpful or say useful part of the digested food are absorbed whereas the waste products are eliminated.
