In a meter bridge, the value of resistance in the resistance box is 10 . The balancing length is l1 = 55cm. Find the value of unknown resistance.

length×known resistance/100-length

By putting values we get

Unknown resistance

=55×10/100-55

=550/45=12.2222 ohm
