In a mixture of 45 liters, the ratio of milk and water is 4:1. How much water must be added to make the mixture ratio 3:2 ?

let milk is 4x and the water is x in the mixture of 45 let milk is 4x and the water is x in the mixture
then,4x+x=45
5x=45
x=9
therefore, in the second mixture let milk is 3x and the water is 2x
then water is = 2×9
=18liters
18 liters of water and 27 liters of milk should be added in the mixture
