A mixture of 30 litres contain milk and water in the ratio of 7:3. Let the rational between milk and water mixture be x. Thus, there is 7x = 7 × 3 = 21 litres milk and 3x = 3 × 3 = 9 litres water. The partial ratio of milk and water is 5:4 and 45 litres of mixture are taken out and 15 litres of water is added.
