Answer:

sprit : water = 5:3

after taken out the mixture of 15 liters RATIO remains same

sprit : water = 5:3

adding 20 liters of water ration changed to 1:1

initial ratio sprit : water = 5:3

new ratio   sprit :water = 1:1

but in both case sprit should be unchanged that why we balance the sprit with multiplying new ratio with 5 we get new balanced ratio

sprit : water = 5:5

water change 3 to 5 it means 2 unit water mixed but actual mixed 20 lt.

2--------------------------------20

1---------------------------------10

then initial quantity of sprit was 5*10 + 9.37

= 59.37

9.37 comes from 15 liter water+sprit taken out by balancing their ratio 9.37sprt and 5.36 water
