Let the quantity of milk be 3x
Then water will be 2x
B/Q,
3x = 2x + 5
» 3x-2x = 5
» x = 5
So, quantity of milk = 3*5 = 15 ltrs
and quantity of water = 2*5 = 10 ltrs

assume that,
milk=a
water=b
a=1.5 b-------(1)
as per the question
a=b+5
1.5b=b+5
o.5b=5
b=10
as per the first equation
a=1.5b (b=10)
a=10
so the quantity of milk =15L
