in a music festival there are 500 viewers out of which 400 were given free tickets the total collection from the sale of tickets was rs.475000 what was the cost of1 ticket

Okay so
$500 \: viewers \: were \: there \: but \: 400 \: were \: without \: ticket$
It simply means that left 100 viewer paid all the money of tickets so,
$475000 \div 100 = 4750$
This is the correct answer..
Cost of one ticket is Rs 4,750

no.of people whom were not given ticket=5000-4000=1000
cost of 1 ticket=475000/1000=Rs.475
