area parallelogram =ad×bg
=120
area of parallelogram=ab×cf
120=ab × 8
ab=120/8
ab=15

Answer:

 AB = 15\:cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Given\\In \: ABCD \: parallelogram \\AD = 10\:cm ,\:BG = 12\:cm \\CF=10\:cm,\:AB=?

 \boxed {Area\:of \: a \: parallelogram \\= base \times corresponding\: height}

 Here, \\Area \: of \: parallelogram \:ABCD = AD \times BG --(1)

 Area \: of \: parallelogram \:ABCD = AB \times CF --(2)

/* Form \: (1)& (2) , we \: know \: that,\\(1)=(2) */

 10\:cm \times 12\:cm = AB \times 8\:cm

 \implies \frac{120}{8}=AB

\implies 15 \:cm = AB

Therefore,

 AB = 15\:cm
