in a parallelogram, angle P + angle Q = 180°

[ co interior angles are supplimentary in a parallelogram ]

3x - 5 + 2x + 15 = 180

5x + 10 = 180

5x = 180 - 10 => 170

therefore x = 170/5 => 34

* angle P and angle Q are NOT opposite angles , they are co interior angles *

*vertices of any quadrilateral has to be in cyclic order either clockwise or anticlockwise*
