Answer: opposite angles are equal,

R=C

3x-2=50-x

3x+x=50+2

4x=52

x=13

R+I=180(co interior angles)

37+I=180

I=180-37

I=143

I=E(opposite angles)

E=143

Concept

  • A parallelogram is a straightforward quadrilateral in Euclidean geometry that has two sets of parallel sides.
  • A parallelogram's opposing or facing sides are equal in length, and its opposing angles are also equal in size.
  • A parallelogram is a rectilinear shape having four sides that are parallel to one another.

Given

A parallelogram. RICE, angle R = (3x - 1)°and Angle c = (50 - x)° is given

Find

We have to find  X and all the angles of the parallelogram.

Solution

The steps are as follow:

  • ∠R = ∠C   {Opposite angles are equal}

3x-2=50-x

4x=52

x=13

  • ∠R = (3x - 2)° = (3*13 - 2) = 37°.
  • ∠R = ∠C = 37°.
  • ∠R + ∠I = 180  {Co-interior angles}

37+∠I=180

∠I=143

∠I =∠E = 143°

Hence the value of X will be 13 and angle of parallelogram will be ∠R = ∠C  = 37° and ∠I =∠E = 143°
