in a parallelogram the altitude is twice the length of the base its area is 450 CM square find the length of the base and the altitude

Answer:

In a parallrlogeam,

base=x

altitude= 2x

area=450 cm square

Since, area of parallelogram = base × altitude

450 = x × 2x

450 = 3x

450÷3= x

150= x

HENCE , BASE = X = 150 cm Answer....

Altitude = 2x = 2×150 = 300cm Answer..
