area of parellelogram =

product of side and it's corresponding height.

but whatever the base of height would be but the area of parellelogram would be same.

area = 12×8

area = 96cm^2

and this area would be equal whether the side or height changes which means the product of other side and it's corresponding height is same

so let the height as 'x'

96 = 10 × x

x = \frac{96}{10}

x = 9.6 cm

so the corresponding height is 9.6 cm
