The amount of pure sugar Mr. aswanth can get is 1.86 kg.

i) According to the question:

Any bag of sugar contains 7% of

impurities which means the ratio of

pure sugar and impurities is 100:7

ii) Any quantity of sugar maintains the

same ratio.

iii) 2kg of sugar picked by Mr. aswanth will also contain pure sugar and impurities in the ratio 100:7 .

iv) Therefore amount of pure sugar in 2kg sugar = (2/107)×100 = 1.86 kg(Required Ansewer)
