Given :

No of bicycles produced by the company in 1st year = 755435

No of bicycles produced in the 2nd year = 1378689 more than  that in 1st year

To Find :

No of bicycles produced in the 2nd year and total no of bicycles produced in these two years = ?

Solution :

Since the no of bicycles produced in the 2nd year is 1378689 more than that produced in the 1st year , so no of bicycles produced in the 2nd year is :

= 1378689 + 755435

= 2134124 bicycles

And the total no of bicycles produced in these two years will be :

=no of bicycles produced in 1st year + no of bicycles produced in 2nd year

= 755435 + 2134124

= 2889559

Hence, the no of bicycles produced in 2nd year is 2134124 and total no of bicycles produced in these two years is 2889559 .
