The total number of people who attended the party is 400.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

Percentage of people who do not drink anything = 27%

Percentage of people who drink either coffee or soft drinks = 100-27 = 73%

Percentage of people drank coffee = 70%

Percentage of people drank soft drinks = 65%

So, Percentage of people who drank both would be

73=70+65-x\\\\73=135-x\\\\73-135=-x\\\\62=x

It means 62% of total number of people drink both

Number of people who drink both = 248

According to question, it becomes,

0.62x=248\\\\x=\dfrac{248}{0.62}\\\\x=400

Hence, the total number of people who attended the party is 400.
