Solution :-

In geometry, there is a useful formula, called Euler's formula. This is as follows,

V - E + F = 2

V = The number of vertices of a polyhedron.
E = The number of edges of a polyhedron.
F = The number of faces of a polyhedron.

Given - Vertices = 10 and Edges = 15

faces = ?

Applying the Euler's formula here.

⇒ 10 - 15 + F = 2

⇒ - 5 + F = 2

⇒ F = 2 + 5

⇒ F = 7

So, the given polyhedron has 7 faces.

given that::

e ( the no. of edge of a polyhedron) = 15
v (no. of vertices of a polyhedron) = 10
f (no. of faces of a polyhedron) = ??

we know that:-

v - e + f = 2

=> 10 - 15 + f = 2

=> f = 2 + 5

=> f = 7

hence, the 7 faces of given polyhedron
