Given :  a polyhedron F=17, V=30

To Find :  E

Solution:

F = Faces

V = vertex

E = Edges

Euler formula for faces

= Edges - Vertex + 2

=> F = E - V + 2

F = 17

E = ?

V = 30

=> 17 = E  - 30 + 2

=> 17 = E - 28

=> 45 = E

=> E = 45

Hence E is 45
