In a population of frogs, 33 % of the individuals are homozygous recessive for scale color where green is dominant over brown. In a population of 12,500, calculate the frequency the recessive allele (a) and the dominant allele (A), the frequency of the homozygous recessive condition, the frequency of the homozygous dominant
condition and the heterozygous condition. SHOW ALL YOUR WORK!

Answer:

Given total population of the frog :- 12500

Number of homozygous frogs(aa) =(33×12,500)/100=4125

Number of heterozygous frogs(Aa)= 8375

(a)Freq. of - (homozygous condition - 4125

(B)Freq of heterozygous condition - 8375

(I guess it only asks these two..?, if you need more help, please comment here)
