In a queue of srudents suresh is 9th from the left corner. The minimum number of strength of this queue is 14

Solution:

Given, in a queue of students suresh is 9th from the left corner

And mukesh is 8th from the right corner

Ramesh is sitting exactly between them

Then we have to find out what could be minimum number of strength of this queue.

According to given arrangements, there should be no one expect ramesh In between suresh and mukesh, so that the number of strength will be minimum.

Now, if suresh is left of ramesh and mukesh is in right side, then total strength of queue is 8 + 1 + 9 = 18.

But if suresh is right of ramesh, then mukesh and ramesh will be covered in left side of suresh.

Then, queue strength = 8 + ( 9 – 3) [ because ramesh suresh and mukesh will be covred In 1st 8 member]

= 8 + 6 = 14

Hence, the minimum possible strength queue is 14 members.
