In a quiz, positive marks are given for correct answers and negative marks are given for incorrect answers.

Jack a boy who also participate in the quiz, scores 25, -5, -10, 15 and 10 in five successive rounds.

Round 1 = 25 scores

Round 2 = -5 scores

Round 3 = -10 scores

Round 4 = 15 scores

Round 5 = 10 scores

We have to find his total scores in the end.

Total scores = Scores in (Round 1 + Round 2 + Round 3 + Round 4 + Round 5)

Substitute known values

Total scores = 25 + (-5) + (-10) + 15 + 10

We know that

+ and + = +

- and - = -

+ and - = -

- and + = +

Using them, we get

= 25 - 5 - 10 + 15 + 10

Using BODMAS Rule, first, do addition and then subtraction

= 25 - (5 + 10) + 15 + 10

= 25 - (15) + 25

= 50 - 15

= 35

Therefore,

In the last, total scores of the Jack was 35.
