the total distance (d)
Let A position is at destination
Then B position from A = 30 metres ( from destination)
C position from A = 48 metres ( from destination)
But C position w. r. t B = 20 metres (given)
Which contradicts means their is difference of 2 metres.
From 30 metres before destination
B has to cover 2 metres in every 30 metres.
To make it equal to 20 metres as given
2 x 10 = 20 metres
Therefore, 30 x 10 = 300 metres
