Given:-

  • Length = 8cm
  • Breadth = 6cm.

To find:-

Length of Diagonal.

Solution:-

Formula to find diagonal of a rectangle when length and breadth is given,

  • \boxed{ d = \sqrt{ l^2 + b^2}}

Here, d is diagonal, l is Length and b is Breadth.

Using this formula,

\implies d = \sqrt{l^2 + b^2}

\implies \sf d = \sqrt{(8)^2 + (6)^2}

\implies \sf d = \sqrt{64 + 36}

\implies \sf d = \sqrt{100}

\implies \sf d = 10

Therefore, length of the diagonal is 10cm.

Hope it helps
