In a rectangle PQRS, the diagonals PR and QS meet at O. If OR = 3x+4 and

OS =7x-4, find the lengths of the diagonal.​

Observe that OR=OT (diagonal bisect each other and they are equal in a rectangle). Hence

2x+4=3x+1.

This implies that 4−1=3x−2x=3=x.

Hence x=3.
