Step-by-step explanation:

the triangle is a Pythagoras

the Pythagoras theorem is A square plus B square = C square

so,

10square+12square=?

100+144=244

244=15.62 square

answer is 15.62cm

Answer:

Given

angle B= 90 degree

AB = 12 cm

BC = 10 cm

Using Pythagoras Theoram in ∆ABC

as angle B is 90 degree than side opposite to it will be AC i.e. hypotenuse

 ac ^{2}  = ab ^{2}  + bc ^{2}

ac ^{2}  = 12 ^{2}  + 10 ^{2}

ac ^{2}  = 144 + 100

ac ^{2}  = 244

ac =  \sqrt{244}

ac = 15.62
