By Pythagoras theorem, ABsq+BCsq= Acsq
8sq +ACsq=10sq
64+Acsq=100
ACsq=100-64=36
AC = under root 36 i.e. 6.

hey dear here is your answer

given that triangle ABC is a right angle triangle at point B

by using phythagorus theorem

(Hy)2 = (b) 2 + (h) 2

hypotenuse AC = 10 CM

base Bc = ?

height AB = 8cm

so

(10)*2 = (Bc)*2 + (8)2

100= Bc*2 +64

Bc*2 = 100-64

Bc *2= 36

so Bc= square root of 36 = 6

So Bc = 6cm

hope helps you
