Given

  • Ratio of two angles of a right angled triangle = 3 : 5

To find

  • The other two angles of the triangle

Solution

Let the two angles of triangle be 3x and 5x.

⟶ 3x + 5x + 90° = 180° (Sum of angles of triangle)

⟶ 8x + 90° = 180°

⟶ 8x = 180° - 90°

⟶ 8x = 90°

⟶ x = 90°/8

⟶ x = 11.25°

The value of x = 11.25°

The other two angles of the right angles triangle-

  • 3x = 3 × 11.25 = 33.75°
  • 5x = 5 × 11.25 = 56.25°

________________________________

Let's verify -

⟶ Sum of angles of a triangle = 180°

⟶ Angles of the right - angled triangle = 90°, 33.75°, 56.25°

Their sum -

⟶ 90 + 33.75 + 56.25°

⟶ 180°

Hence, verified.

Given:-

Ratio of two angles of a right angled triangle is 3:5.

To Find:-

Measure of other two angles!

Solution:-

Let the two angles be '3x' and '5x'.

Now,

Sum of angles of a triangle is 180°.

3x+5x+90° = 180°

8x+90° = 180°

8x = 180°-90°

8x = 90°

x = (90/8)°

x = (45/4)°

x = 11.25

The other two angles:-

• 3x = 3×11.25 = 33.75°

• 5x = 5×11.25 = 56.25°
