Answer:

We know = (h)²=(b)²+(p)²

So, for finding perpendicular.

=(p)²=(h)²-(b)²

=(p)²=(15)²-(12)²

=(p)²=225-144

=(p)²=81

(p)=√81

P=9

Answer :-

Perpendicular = 9 cm.

Explanation :-

Given :

  • Base of Right Triangle = 12 cm.

  • Hypotenuse of Right Triangle = 15 cm.

To Find :

  • Perpendicular of Right Triangle.

Solution :

We will use Pythagoras theorem.

Formula :- (H)² = P² + B²

So, Let's Begin.

➞ 15² = P² + 12²

➞ 225 = P² + 144.

➞ P² = 225 - 144.

➞ P² = 81.

➞ P = √81.

➞ P = 9 cm.

Therefore,

Perpendicular of Right Triangle = 9 cm.
