In a right triangle ABC, angle B= 90° . (i) if AB =6 cm , BC =8cm, find AC. (ii) if AC= 17cm ,BC=15 cm , find AB​

BC = 8cm

find : AC

AC² = BC²+AB²

= 8² + 6²

= 16 + 12

AC = √28cm

(ii) given :

B=90°

AC = 17cm

BC = 15cm

find : AB

AC² = BC²+AB²

17² = 15² + AB²

289 = 225 + AB²

225 - 289 = AB²

√64 = AB

8cm = AB
