Step-by-step explanation:

Solution:-

By Pythagoras theorem,

(1)

AC² = AB² + BC²

AC² = 6² + 8²

AC² = 36 + 64

AC² = 100 cm

AC = 10 cm

(2)

AC² = AB² + BC²

AB² = AC² - BC²

AB² = 13² - 5²

AB² = 169 - 25

AB² = 144 cm

AB 12 cm.

Answer:

{\huge{\underline{\underline{\sf{\blue{Solution :-}}}}}}

Given:-

In a right triangle abc angle b is equal to 90 degree if ab is equal to 6 CM BC is equal to 8 cm.

To find :-

Find AC ________?

Hence,

△ ABC is a right- angled triangle with ∠B = 90°.

In △ ABC,

AC ^{2}  = BC ^{2}  + AB^{2}

(Pythogoras Theoreom)

 = [ \: (8)^{2}+ (6) ^{2}  ] \: cm ^{2}

 = [ \: 64 + 36] \: cm ^{2}

 = 100 \: cm ^{2}

 = AC =  \sqrt{100} \:  cm

 = 10 \: cm \:
