according to phythagours theroem ....

we get .....

13^2=5^2+ab^2

ab^2=169-25

ab^2=144

ab=✓144

ab=12

Q]in a right triangle and angle b measures

90 degree

b)if ac=13 cm,bc=5 cm , find ab

ANS] IN ABC, AC is hypotenuse

So , Pythagoras theorem

[hypo ] ^ 2 = [First side]^2 + [Second side ]^ 2

[ AC ] ^ 2 = [ AB ] ^ 2 + [ BC]^2

[ 13 ]^2 = [ AB ]^ 2 + [ 5 ] ^ 2

169 = [ AB ] ^2 + 25

[ AB ]^2 = 169 - 25

[ AB ] = [144]^1/2

[ AB ] = 12 cm
