In a right angle triangle:

perpendicular OA =3cm

hypotaneous AB =6 cm

by pythagoras theorem,

perpendicular ^ 2 + base^2=hypotaneous^2

base^2=hypotaneous ^2 - perpendicular ^2

base^2= 6^2 - 3^2

base^2=36-9

base^2=25

base=5

OB=5cm
