By Pythagoras Theorem,

(Hypotenuse)^2

=(base)^2+(Perpendicular)^2

So, (H)^2 = (3)^2 + (4)^2

(H)^2 = 9 + 16

(H)^2 = 25

H = √25

H = 5

Therefore, Hypotenuse= 5 cm
