Given that Sid is 8th from left and Virat is 13th from right.
if they interchange , Sid becomes 23rd from left. but when they interchange , Sid comes on position of Virat.
so 13th from right and 23rd from left is same position which is position of Sid.
number of boys = 22 boys on left of Sid+ 1 boy that is Sid + 12 boys on right of Sid
= 22 + 1 + 12 = 35
Hence there are 35 boys.
