Let the no. of students below 10 years age = 20% of x =x/5

Given: no of students above 10 years = 48

∴ Total no. of students = students below 10 years + students above 10 years

⇒ x = x/5 + 48

→ x - x/5 = 48

→ 5x -x/5 = 48

→ 4x/5 = 48

→ 4x = 48 x 5

→ 4x = 240

→ x = 240/4

→ x = 60

∴The Total no. of students = 60
