in a school 4/7of the total students of girls. if the number of girls is 100 more than that of the boys what is the strength of the school. how many boys are there?

hii mate here is the answer to your question
let, the strength of the class be x and no. of boys be y.
According to your question, x=100+y...(i)
.:4/7×x=100+y
--->> 4x/7=100
-->>4x=700
--->>x=700/4=175
therefore, the strength of the class is =175 and no. of boys in the class are 175=100+y
-->>y=75
therefore, no. of boys are 75.
