Let x be the total number of students in the school.

ATQ - (\frac{45}{100} × x) + 220 = x

          \frac{9x}{20} + 220 = x

          220 = x - \frac{9x}{20}

220 = \frac{20x - 9x}{20}

220 = \frac{11x}{20}

\frac{220 * 20}{11} = x

400 = x

So the total number of students in the class are 400.

then, x*55/100=220( no. of boys)

x = 22000/55

x= 400

therefore  , total no. of students are 400

hence , no. of girls are 180 (400 - 220 )
