in a school 5/8 of the total students are girls if the number of girls is 120 more than that of boys what is the strength of the school how many boys are there​

It's very simple. I would explain you this question.

So, if 5/8are girls then 3/8 are boys(fraction regarded to whole) therefore, difference = 2/8 = 1/4

If, 1/4 = 120 therefore, whole fraction =120×4=480

no of students=480

no of boys =180

no of girls =300
