Above question is based on  simple percentage calculation word problem here in this question the data given as

total students=600

by bus=100

by walking=80

remaining  number of students =

by bus students + by walking students

=100+80

=180

now these are the students who use some source to come

for finding the students whose parents dropped at school

=600 - 180\\=420\\

so 420 students are dropped by there parents

600-100\\=500\\

so 500 students dose not use bus for riding

hence percentage  =

\frac{500}{600} \times 100\\=83.33%\\

hence  83.33% students do not ride the bus to school

Given data in question are

In a school total student is 600.

out of 600,100 comes by bus ,

80 come walking and remaining are drop by parents

Remaining are drop by parents = 600-180=420

We have to find percentage of students that do not ride the bus to school

percentage of students not ride the bus to school=\frac{Total student - students comes by school}{total student}\times 100

=\frac{600-100}{600} \times 100

=\frac{500}{6}

=83.33 %

Therefore, 83.33% is the required  percentage of students that do not ride the bus to school.
