Total Number if students = 300
Girls= 300×70%= 300×70/100 = 210
Boys=300-210= 90

If 39 girls leave , number of girls left will be 210-30= 180 , and Boys= 90

Percentage of girls = 180/180+90= 180/270
= 2/3 %
= 2/3×100
=66.667

66.667% is the percentage of girls in the school.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Total Number of students = 300

Girls = 70%

Boys = 30%

Solution:

Girls = 300 \times70%

= 300\times \frac{70}{100}

= 210

Boys = 300 - 210 = 90

After 30 girls leave the school,

The number of girls left will be 210-30= 180, and Boys= 90

Percentage of girls = \frac{180}{180+90}

                                   = \frac{180}{270}

                                 = \frac{2}{3} %

                              = \frac{2}{3} \times 100

                                = 66.667%
