let the no. of boys be 2x and girls be 3x
if the no of boys increases by 20%then new no.=2x×20%
=4x/10
no.of girls increases by 10%then new no.of girls=3x×10%=3x/10
new ratio = 4x/10÷3x/10
=4:3
