According to the question,

x + x + 11 = 55

2x + 11 = 55

2x = 55 - 11

2x = 44

x = $\dfrac{44}{2}$

x = 22



Total number of male teachers => x

=> 22


Total number of female teachers => x + 11

=> 22 + 11

=> 33



$\therefore{}$ Number of male teachers and female teachers are 22 and 33 respectively.
