In a school, there is a meal for 240 boys or 400 girls. if 300 girls have taken the meal, how many men will be catered to with remaining meal?

Solution :-

There is a meal for 240 boys or 400 girls.

Out of 400 girls, 300 girls have taken the meal.

Remaining meal is to be catered to (400 - 300) = 100 girls.

Now, 

400 girls :  240 boys

So, 100 girls ⇒ (240*100)/400

⇒ 24000/400

⇒ 60 boys

Hence, the remaining mean can be catered to 60 boys.
