Answer:

Rs 50400

Step-by-step explanation:

The cost price of 1 TV = Rs 12000

The cost price of the 4 TVs = 12000 × 4 = Rs 48000

Let the selling price of one TV be x then the selling price of 4 will be 4x.

When 4 TVs were sold the target was still less by 1600.

We write this as :

4x + 1600 = 48000

4x = 48000 - 1600

4x = 46400

x = 46400/4 = 11600

Cost price of 10 TVs will be = 12000 × 10 = 120000

The selling price of 10 TVs is = 11600 × 10 = 116000

The selling price of the remaining 6 TVs is = 11600 × 6 = 69600

This amount is short from the total sales by : 120000 - 69600 = 50400

The remaining sales fall short by rs 50400
